Do you buy items once a clearance is complete?
We will calculate the total cost of the clearance, and if there are any items in the property that we believe can be sold or passed on, we will inform you before we issue your final invoice
If my property requires cleaning, can you provide a service?
Yes we can - for an additional fee, we can thoroughly clean your property to a high standard
Do you clear properties for FREE?
If the property we are clearing holds any items of significant value, ie antiques, we will be more than happy to discuss further and reach an agreement that is benefical to both yourself AND GM Clearance Services
Do I need to be present during the clearance?
No. In fact most customers prefer to leave us to clear what is required, rather than feeling as if they are getting in the way! If we are clearing a deceased estate, we know and understand how upsetting and distressing this can be.If you feel the need to oversee the clearance, we will endevour to be as respectful and understanding as possible
Do you accept Photographs by E-Mail?
Yes. Many customers find it more benefical to send photographs to us, showing exactly what needs to be cleared. This also helps us evaluate what is involved in that particular job, and how many men we would need to do so.
Where is all the rubbish taken once it has been cleared?
All non-reusable rubbish from every clearance is taken to Environment Agency registered waste recycling sites. We always carry a required Waste Carriers Licence so that we are recognised as a trusted company both by you and with the Environment Agency
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit and credit cards, cheque and PayPal (online). Once our staff have completed the work, they will issue you with a final invoice which includes VAT.
Do you have a basic price rate?
We can give a full, FREE quote on all work carried out, as soon as the place of clearance has been inspected. To make things easier, we do accept photographs via email which saves time for both you and ourselves. Once we have studied the photographs, we will then give a quote for the work required.
Does your company hold insurance and a required Waste Carriers Licence?
Yes, we have both in place, with Public Liability Insurance up to £1,000,000. Proof of both can be shown on request
